CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR 2026

In a slight change to the last few years, the 2026 season will be seeing 2 longer running championships, running from February to December. Both running over 10 rounds, 8 rounds counting towards the championship, allowing for 2 rounds to be dropped.  

The 1^st Saturday will continue to be the ‘easier’ events being run at our regular smaller venues. The 3^rd Saturday will be held at slightly harder venues, but the sections will still be set out sensibly, for the lower routes. It will be the venues that make the 3^rd Saturday slightly harder.

This will allow for a 10-round championship to be run through the year, ending with the traditional Christmas event at Hookwoods. This will mean no event will be held on the 1^st Saturday in January (3^rd). The 3^rd Saturday (17^th) will be a one off, fun event.
